These incredible creatures face threats from poachers, predators, and tides, so we’ve partnered with the local NGO, Sea Sense, to protect them. Sea Sense relocates vulnerable eggs to a secure hatchery, ensuring the survival of future generations.

Tanzania’s coastline provides essential nesting habitats for green and hawksbill turtles, while loggerhead, olive ridley, and leatherback turtles are present in the waters but do not nest here.
